rental car protector option - all plans
If you rent a car while you're on vacation, this option provides essential coverage:
- up to $50,000 for loss or damage of your rental car due to collision or theft
- for trips up to 60 days
cruise and tour protector option
This option reimburses you for:
- certain expenses due to cancellation or schedule change of your cruise or tour
- up to $1,000 for airfare to connect with another cruise or tour
- up to $100 for meals and accommodation
golf protector or ski protector option
This option reimburses you for:
- up to $2,500 for lost, stolen or damaged equipment
- up to $200 for equipment rental if your gear is lost or delayed
- up to $500 for missed greens fees, golf lessons, and rental equipment OR unused ski lift tickets
business protector option
If you are travelling with laptops, cell phones, PDAs and other important equipment, this option reimburses you for:
- up to $2,500 for lost, stolen or damaged business equipment
- up to $200 for delayed arrival of business equipment
- up to $200 for emergency business equipment rental if yours is lost or delayed
special events protector option
If there's a wedding, sporting event, conference or other occasion that you just can't miss, this option helps to ensure you'll get there in time. It reimburses you for:
- transportation on same class ticket in case your flight is cancelled
- up to $600 for additional transportation costs on a scheduled carrier
- up to $100 for missed pre-booked event tickets
- increased meals and accommodation allowance of up to an additional $500 per day, up to a maximum $5,000 as a medical benefit or up to a maximum $1,000 as a non-medical benefit
- delay of baggage and personal effects benefit increased to $750
